What airport should I fly into?
Chicago has two major airports: O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW). O’Hare is the larger hub and usually best for international flights; Midway can be quicker for domestic connections.
How do I get from the Airport to Chicago?
From O’Hare (ORD)
Go to Terminal 3 and take the Blue Line directly into downtown Chicago ($2.50 per person). Travel time is typically 45 minutes to 1 hour.
From Midway (MDW)
Take the Orange Line directly into downtown Chicago ($2.50 per person). Travel time is typically 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Uber / Taxi / Rideshare
Also easy to find—rides are typically 30–45 minutes depending on traffic.
Getting to and around Chicago
The Chicago 'L' train system is a convenient and affordable way to get around the city. Use apple pay or tap your card to get through the gates.
Rideshare options (uber/lyft) are also readily available-no car necessary!
